Job summary

Amazon is seeking an experienced Senior Regional Workplace Health and Safety Manager to partner with regional operations and drive compliance with local, regional, and federal WHS regulations. The role emphasizes risk assessment, data analysis, and clear communication to lead safety programs across multiple fulfillment centers.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required.
• 7+ years of increasing responsibilities in safety and/or environmental programs.
• 7+ years of increasing responsibilities in people and performance management.
• Experience implementing lean principles and process improvement in an operational environment.

Responsibilities

• Act as SME of local/regional regulations and company WHS policy.
• Provide guidance to ensure compliance with WHS policies.
• Measure regional/site performance and create remediation plans for deficiencies.
• Analyze WHS metrics and trends to justify resource allocation.
• Mentor FC WHS Managers and Associates and develop leadership within the team.
• Lead safety improvement initiatives and training across sites.
