Job summary

Amazon seeks a Senior Regional Workplace Health and Safety (WHS) Manager to partner with regional operations, drive safety policy compliance, and lead continuous improvement in health and ergonomic risk reduction across fulfillment centers.

You will develop and mentor a team of WHS professionals, influence cross-functional leaders, and deliver data-driven safety programs while aligning with company standards and regional regulations.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required in a relevant field.
• 7+ years leading safety and/or environmental programs.
• 7+ years of increasing responsibilities in people and performance management.
• Experience applying lean principles and process improvement in an operational setting.
• Ability to travel up to 50% and work across multiple sites.

Responsibilities

• Act as SME for local and regional regulations and company WHS policy.
• Provide guidance to ensure compliance with WHS policies.
• Measure regional/site performance and create improvement plans for deficiencies.
• Ensure accurate WHS data, reporting, and metrics for initiatives.
• Lead safety improvement projects and analyze incident trends.
• Mentor WHS managers and associates across FCs.
