Amazon.com Services LLC is seeking a Senior Regional Workplace Health and Safety (WHS) Manager to partner with regional operations and execute WHS policies while ensuring compliance with local, regional, and federal regulations. The role emphasizes lean principles and kaizens to reduce ergonomic risks and create a safe environment for Amazon Associates.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree required.
7+ years in safety/environmental programs in manufacturing, production, service operations, or relevant experience.
7+ years of people and performance management.
Experience applying lean principles and process improvement in operations.
Travel up to 50% is required.
Office within designated region; relocation may be required.

Responsibilities

Serve as SME for local and regional regulations and company WHS policy.
Guide compliance with all Amazon WHS policies.
Measure site performance against WHS requirements and remediate deficiencies.
Maintain WHS data integrity and provide accurate reporting and metrics.
Lead safety initiatives and continuous improvement projects with Operations teams.
Develop and mentor a team of WHS managers and associates within the region.
Lead risk assessments and safety data analysis to inform resource allocation.
Train site leadership and WHS professionals on company EHS policies.
