Job summary

Amazon.com Services LLC in Las Vegas, NV is seeking a Senior Regional Workplace Health and Safety Manager to lead WHS programs across a regional operations network. You will partner with operations teams to implement policies, assess risks, and drive continuous improvement using lean methods and kaizens to reduce ergonomic and safety risks.

You will build and mentor a team of WHS professionals, communicate clearly with leaders, and ensure compliance with local, regional, and federal regulations.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required.
• 7+ years of increasing responsibilities in safety or environmental programs.
• 7+ years of experience in people and performance management.
• Experience implementing lean principles in an operational environment.
• Ability to travel up to 50%.

Responsibilities

• Act as SME of local/regional regulations and company WHS policies.
• Provide guidance to ensure compliance with WHS policies.
• Analyze WHS metrics and incident trends to justify resources.
• Lead and mentor WHS managers and associates.
• Deliver safety improvements in partnership with Operations.
