RWE Americas, LLC is hiring a Senior Business Development Manager to support the Southern Regional Development team in market, customer, and policy intelligence for utility-scale solar, wind, and energy storage projects across ERCOT, SPP South, MISO South, and SERC (GA). The role involves pricing, competitive analyses, market development, and M&A initiatives.

Qualifications

• Master's degree preferred in Business or Energy Policy.
• 7+ years in renewable energy infrastructure or related fields.
• Strong communication with executive leadership and stakeholders.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and deliverables across teams.

Responsibilities

• Lead internal analysis and develop materials to support strategic decisions, market intelligence, competitive assessments, and internal approvals for project gating and investment
• Identify emerging trends and risks across target markets and create action plans to address them
• Build strategic rationale to support internal approvals and project gating decisions
• Develop reports and dashboards to monitor progress against business goals and OKRs
• Coordinate with cross-functional stakeholders to align market assumptions
• Forecast and communicate upcoming regional approvals and obligations to leadership
• Coordinate regional budgeting and forecasting activities, ensuring QA/QC of inputs and developing budget reports
• Implement strategic tools, standards, and best practices across the development organization
