Job summary

RWE Americas, LLC seeks a Manager, Business Development West to lead portfolio optimization materials and coordinate cross-functional teams across developers, commercial analysis, power marketing, and interconnection functions.

The role drives M&A evaluation, new market development, and internal reporting while ensuring data quality and alignment with executive goals. Requires 5+ years in renewable energy and strong leadership.

Qualifications

• M.S. in Data Science, Energy Policy or Finance preferred.
• Minimum 5 years renewable energy development experience, preferably WECC/CAISO.
• Proven ability to communicate with executive leadership.
• Strong interpersonal skills and ability to manage internal/external relationships.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office and Teams.
• Office-based role with travel to other RWE offices/sites.

Responsibilities

• Develop materials to support strategic decisions and investments.
• Create dashboards and reports to monitor progress and OKRs.
• Coordinate with cross-functional stakeholders for market assumptions.
• Forecast regional approvals and obligations to leadership.
• Lead budgeting and forecasting activities with QA/QC of inputs.
