Job summary

RWE Americas, LLC is seeking a Manager of Business Development West to lead portfolio optimization initiatives and prepare materials for the regional development team. You will coordinate between developers, commercial analysis, power marketing, and interconnection teams to guide strategy and ensure data quality.

You will also drive M&A evaluation and new market development, while managing internal reporting and executive communications.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required.
• MS in Data Science, Energy Policy, or Finance preferred.
• Minimum 5 years renewable energy development experience, preferably WECC/CAISO.
• Proven ability to communicate with executive leadership.
• Strong organizational and multi-tasking abilities.

Responsibilities

• Develop materials to support strategic decisions and approvals for project gating and investment.
• Build strategic rationale to support internal approvals and project gating decisions.
• Drive origination and M&A development due diligence.
• Develop reports and dashboards to monitor progress against goals and OKRs.
• Coordinate with cross-functional stakeholders to align market assumptions.
