RWE Americas, LLC is seeking a Director of Business Development for Utility-scale Development, West, based in Oakland, CA. The role supports the west regional development group in the US, focusing on market, customer, and policy intelligence, and regional portfolio management for solar, wind, and energy storage projects.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in STEM, business/economics, or relevant fields.
• 11 years of work experience in renewable energy infrastructure.
• Minimum of 3 years leading a team.

Responsibilities

• Lead regional portfolio management analysis to assess pipeline strength.
• Drive regional implementation of strategic targets including M&A support.
• Provide strategic regional analysis on customers, markets and competitors.
• Forecast regional financial obligations and interconnections.
• Lead quarterly development planning and define OKRs.
• Manage budgets and communicate risks at portfolio level.
• Represent BD in executive forums with leadership insights.
• Prepare all board documentation for project approvals.
