Job summary

OpenAI is seeking an Enterprise Systems Manager, Recruiting Systems to own and harden its recruiting platform, focusing on Ashby and connected workflows. This hands-on role translates recruiting process problems into durable fixes through configuration, governance, and integration partnership.

Qualifications

• In-depth, hands-on experience configuring Ashby in production.
• Knowledge of recruiting workflows, offer processes, data downstream impacts.
• Experience with HRIS like Workday and related systems.

Responsibilities

• Own recruiting workflow domains in Ashby and adjacent tools, including stages, fields, permissions, approvals, templates, and configuration standards.
• Partner on remediation work across start dates, offers, approvals, integrations, auditability, data integrity, and workflow controls.
• Design and implement governed workflow changes balancing usability with reporting trust and integration reliability.
• Establish guardrails: required/conditional fields, stage definitions, role-based permissions, approvals, and validation patterns.
• Drive durable fixes for recurring issues via configuration, automation, documentation, or process redesign.
• Partner on integrations, monitoring, incident response, and failure-mode reduction across recruiting ecosystem.
• Strengthen data quality through capture design, standard definitions, audit mechanisms, and governance.
• Support controlled releases with testing, UAT, rollout planning, communications, enablement, post-launch monitoring.
• Create SOPs, change records, training materials, and reference docs for easier operations.
