Job summary

Veho in the United States is seeking a Senior Recruiting Lead to own high-volume hiring for Ground Operations and Live Operations, partnering with senior leaders to shape headcount strategy, raise the talent bar, and build scalable processes for an AI-driven recruitment era.

The role emphasizes building a world-class candidate experience, coaching recruiters, delivering volume across markets, and using data to forecast needs and improve funnel efficiency.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of recruiting experience, including 3+ years in high-volume or hourly/field operations hiring.
• 1+ years formally leading or managing recruiters (team lead, supervisor, or manager).
• A track record of building or significantly improving a recruiting process or playbook that other recruiters run every day.
• In-house experience at a fast-moving, operations-heavy company (logistics, delivery, e-commerce, quick commerce, or retail operations).
• Regular partnership with senior operations leaders (director level and above), including delivering hard messages on timelines, comp, or bar.
• Multi-market or multi-site hiring experience.
• Comfort pulling ATS data and building simple reporting to diagnose funnel drop-off and forecast hiring needs.
• Curiosity about AI and automation, and a bias toward building tools that give your team time back.
• A player-coach mindset: you lead the team and still close hires yourself.
• Calm under pressure through peak season, launches, and shifting priorities.

Responsibilities

• Build and own the hiring system. Create, launch, and continuously improve our HV Hiring Playbook: funnel velocity standards, daily recruiting routines, role-specific hiring guides, decision rubrics, and offer and onboarding workflows. Run our Bar Raiser Program for High Volume, including interviewer calibration. Use funnel data to find bottlenecks and build the fix into the system.
• Bring AI and automation into every step. Implement automated outreach and follow-ups, AI-assisted screening, self-scheduling, and automated funnel reporting so recruiters spend their time on candidate conversations and closing.
• Own the candidate experience. Provide candidates with a world-class experience built on total transparency and active communication. Recruiters keep applicants continuously updated while giving them a complete, honest picture of the role—tracking feedback to elevate our standard every quarter.
• Lead the team. Coach and develop recruiters, set weekly goals, balance req loads across markets, and run weekly pipeline reviews and 1:1s. Proactively step in personally on critical searches.
• Deliver volume. Drive high-volume recruitment through structured hiring processes and targeted sourcing strategies. Optimize candidate pipelines using job boards, referrals, community partnerships, hiring events, and temp-to-perm conversions to successfully deliver on complex peak-season demands and new market expansions.
• Partner with senior operations leaders. Align on workforce plans and hiring bars, coach leaders to be strong hiring managers, recalibrate off-track searches, and push back on timelines or bars when needed.
• Bring the data. Track and report hiring performance by market and team, forecast recruiter capacity, and flag risk before it hits the operation.
