Job summary

Carvana is seeking an experienced Senior Manager to oversee multiple reconditioning lines in the Inspection & Reconditioning Center. You will plan production, manage facilities when leadership is absent, and drive performance against targets in production, cost, and quality.

You will identify bottlenecks, perform root cause analysis, and coordinate with senior leadership to implement action plans. The role requires strong communication, strategic thinking, and a commitment to Carvana's values.

Qualifications

• 8+ years of management experience in automotive or lean manufacturing.
• Experience leading a team of over 50 associates and developing employees.
• Proven ability to solve urgent operational challenges through root cause analysis.
• Excellent communication skills.
• Must be able to relocate regionally or nationwide.
• Must be able to read, write, speak and understand English.

Responsibilities

• Oversee multiple reconditioning lines within the Inspection & Reconditioning Center (IC), planning production for a full working shift.
• Fully manage facilities to meet or exceed targets in production, cost, and quality when the General Manager is not onsite.
• Identify bottlenecks that affect site throughput, conduct root cause analysis, and develop action plans with site leadership.
• Conduct weekly site performance reviews with Senior Reconditioning leadership.
• Guide daily site manager huddles to set the day's tone and priorities.
• Support CI projects at the home site and across region/network, implementing process changes.
• Foster growth and development in Reconditioning Lead and Manager populations with regular feedback.
• Embody Carvana values through leadership, teamwork, and shop-floor communication.
• Uphold operating standards and processes; ensure health, safety and loss prevention guidelines are followed.
