Job summary

Block, Inc. is seeking a Senior Analyst to join the Recon and Reporting team, owning end-to-end reconciliation and reporting for card networks, banks, and processors.

You will translate business needs into metrics, build automated SQL reports, and partner with Engineering and Treasury to ensure accurate, auditable funds flows. You will mentor analysts, support month-end close, and drive process improvements with an AI-first mindset.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of related experience in reconciliation, settlement, or finance analytics.
• Expert-level SQL and automated reporting design.
• Experience owning end-to-end reconciliation or financial reporting workstreams.
• Strong understanding of accounting principles and money movement.

Responsibilities

• Own end-to-end reconciliation and reporting workstreams across networks, banks, and processors.
• Define metrics, dashboards, and automated reporting to support audits and regulatory needs.
• Collaborate with Data Engineering to build and maintain data pipelines.
• Mentor and onboard analysts, review code, and promote best practices.
• Lead month-end close support and drive process improvements.
