Job summary

B&B Concrete is seeking a senior Rebar Estimator who can independently review structural drawings, perform reinforcing‑steel takeoffs, and develop labor and material pricing for complex projects. You will help establish estimating standards, production rates, and historical cost databases, while collaborating with project management, field teams, and detailing staff.

Remote work is available with periodic travel to project sites and meetings; ideal candidates have 7+ years in reinforcing steel

Qualifications

• Substantial hands-on experience in reinforcing-steel industry.
• Ability to independently review structural drawings and specifications.
• Experience with estimating, detailing, and project coordination.

Responsibilities

• Perform complete reinforcing-steel quantity takeoffs from drawings and specs.
• Develop estimates for material, fabrication, detailing, labor, equipment and freight.
• Establish labor hours and production assumptions for projects.
• Review plans for scope gaps and constructability concerns.
• Prepare conceptual, preliminary, and final estimates.
• Assist management with bid strategy and pricing.
• Coordinate RFIs and subcontracts pricing when required.
