B&B Concrete is seeking an experienced estimator/detailer to lead the reinforcing-steel estimating and detailing functions remotely. You will develop labor/material pricing, review drawings, and support management with bid strategy and cost analysis for diverse construction projects.

The successful candidate will review structural drawings, prepare placement drawings and bar lists, and mentor junior staff as the department grows.

Formación

• 7+ years in reinforcing-steel industry experience.
• Experience estimating reinforcing steel for large projects.
• Experience detailing reinforcing steel or reviewing placing drawings.
• Strong ability to read structural drawings and specs.

Responsabilidades

• Perform complete reinforcing-steel quantity takeoffs from drawings and specs.
• Develop estimates for material, fabrication, detailing, placing labor and equipment.
• Establish labor hours and production rates based on project conditions.
• Identify constructability issues and risk factors before bid submission.
• Prepare conceptual, preliminary and final estimates and assist in bid strategy.
• Coordinate with project management and field personnel to resolve issues.
