Job summary
Fredrikson & Byron seeks an attorney to join its Real Estate Department in the Madison office (also Mankato or Minneapolis). The ideal candidate will have 5+ years of transactional real estate experience, with deep experience negotiating and drafting complex commercial leases for landlords and tenants and handling related agreements.
You will manage real estate due diligence, represent developers and borrowers, and oversee closings of real estate transactions. A J.D.
Qualifications
- 5+ years of transactional real estate experience with ability to independently handle core real estate tasks.
- Significant experience negotiating and drafting complex commercial leases.
- Strong academic background and proven writing ability.
- Active attorney license in at least one U.S. jurisdiction with eligibility to promptly gain admission in Minnesota.
Responsibilities
- Negotiate and draft complex commercial leases for landlords and tenants.
- Negotiate and draft purchase and sale agreements and related documents.
- Manage real estate due diligence for sale, purchase, and financing transactions.
- Represent developers in various real estate development agreements.
- Coordinate closing of real estate sale, purchase and financing transactions.
