Fredrikson & Byron seeks an attorney to join the Real Estate Department in our Mankato, Madison, or Minneapolis offices. The ideal candidate will have 5+ years of transactional real estate experience, with significant experience negotiating and drafting complex commercial leases for landlords and tenants.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of transactional real estate experience.
• Experience drafting and negotiating complex commercial leases.
• Strong writing and analytical skills.
• J.D. from ABA-Accredited Law School.
• Active license in at least one U.S. jurisdiction; Minnesota admission readiness.

Responsibilities

• Handle core real estate transactional tasks.
• Draft and negotiate leases, purchase agreements, and related documents.
• Manage due diligence for sale/purchase and financing transactions; closings.
