Job summary
Fredrikson & Byron is seeking an experienced Real Estate M&A Attorney to join our Real Estate Department in Mankato, Madison, or Minneapolis offices. This role focuses on sophisticated commercial real estate transactions arising in mergers and acquisitions, private equity investments, financings, and other strategic corporate deals.
Ideal candidates will have over five years of transactional real estate experience, a strong foundation in core real estate matters, and a JD from an ABA-accredited
Qualifications
- 5+ years of transactional real estate experience.
- Significant experience negotiating and drafting complex commercial leases.
- Excellent interpersonal, analytical, and writing skills.
- Strong academic background.
- J.D. from an ABA-Accredited Law School.
- Active attorney license in at least one U.S. jurisdiction and ability to promptly get admitted in Minnesota.
Responsibilities
- Advise clients on sophisticated commercial real estate transactions, including M&A-related real estate matters.
- Lead sophisticated standalone real estate transactions.
- Coordinate due diligence, title, survey, zoning, leasing, and property risks in deals.
- Negotiate and draft purchase and sale agreements and related documents.
- Represent borrowers in mortgage loan transactions and manage closings.
