Fredrikson & Byron seeks an experienced Real Estate M&A Attorney to join our Real Estate Department in the Madison, WI office. The ideal candidate will handle sophisticated commercial real estate transactions tied to mergers, acquisitions, financings, and other corporate deals, collaborating with colleagues across practice areas.

Candidates should have 5+ years of transactional real estate experience, strong lease drafting negotiating skills, a J.D.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years of transactional real estate experience.
• Strong negotiation and drafting skills for complex leases.
• Experience managing real estate aspects of M&A and corporate transactions.
• Excellent writing and analytical abilities.

Responsibilities

• Negotiate and draft complex commercial leases for landlords and tenants.
• Coordinate real estate due diligence and risk assessment in transactions.
• Draft purchase and sale agreements and related documents for buyers and sellers.
• Lead real estate closing activities within fast-paced corporate deals.
