Job summary

Exelon is seeking an experienced Real Estate professional to plan and execute complex real estate activities across multiple utilities. You will support property acquisitions, leases, and related documentation, while coordinating with Real Estate Reps and external stakeholders.

The role requires strong negotiation, project management, and communication skills, with a background in real estate transactions and office suite proficiency.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree or Real Estate Broker's License and 4-7 years of business experience or in lieu of a degree, 6-9 years of business experience.
• At least 3-5 years of real estate transactional experience involving knowledge of legal descriptions and standard real estate practice and documentation.
• Proven negotiation skills.
• Demonstrated ability to organize complex projects, meet critical deadlines and assume primary responsibility for completion of assignments.
• Strong presentation ability and excellent written and oral communication skills.
• Proficient in Excel and MS Office Applications, including MS Access, PowerPoint, Word and MS Project.
• Customer focused, professional and self-starting.

Responsibilities

• Plan and perform real estate and real estate related activities within the full range of real estate functions, including property acquisition, leasing, rent collection, property tax assessments and appeals, property management and related matters.
• Assist in directing Real Estate Reps in day-to-day activities of property acquisition.
• Assist in providing interactive support in resource allocation, capability assessment, training, job assignments and performance appraisal.
• Negotiate contract and agreement terms; prepare contracts, deeds, leases, easements and other documents; review surveys, descriptions, drawings, appraisals and environmental reports; represent department with counsel.
• Create and maintain project files, conduct financial analyses, appraisals, inspections, research property records, prepare reports and evaluations.
• Act as a source of real estate information for internal departments and external customers.
• Serve as a point of contact for governmental agencies and external customers regarding Exelon real estate assets and projects.
• Act as liaison or project manager with regional staff or contractors for real estate transactions and projects.
• Report to Manager/Supervisor on project status and performance goals.
• Perform other duties as assigned by the Manager/Supervisor.
• Act as regional contact for external customers, railroads and municipalities for Exelon real estate issues and projects.
