Job summary

Exelon. Baltimore-based opportunity seeks an experienced engineer to lead complex utility projects, mentor junior staff, and drive integrated analyses across electric and gas systems.

You will coordinate with internal teams and external contractors, conduct cost-benefit studies, and present strategic recommendations to leadership to optimize performance and safety. Strong analytical, leadership, and collaboration skills are essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a technical field or 6+ years of relevant experience in lieu of a degree.
• Ability to analyze and interpret electrical and mechanical systems.
• Knowledge of construction, operations or engineering principles and practices.
• Knowledge of complex field test equipment.

Responsibilities

• Lead complex engineering assignments on critical projects, coordinating with teams and contractors.
• Evaluate and implement projects with significant financial and operational impact.
• Provide expert guidance and training to junior staff and cross-functional teams.
• Lead design reviews and ensure proper documentation and cost-benefit analyses.
