The role emphasizes advanced financial modeling, strong communication, and the ability to manage complex schedules under tight deadlines, with potential extended hours during storms or emergencies.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in business, economics, finance, accounting or engineering.
• Experience typically 7–10 years in accounting, finance or related field.
• Excellent written and oral communication skills are essential.
• Commitment to highest standards of quality and integrity.
• Strong problem solving with solid financial, mathematical and analytical abilities.
• Ability to effectively manage cross functional teams.
• In lieu of degree, 9–12 years of relevant experience.

Responsibilities

• Act as project manager for regulatory filings, audits and/or special projects.
• Perform accounting, tax, financial and qualitative analyses of regulatory matters.
• Coordinate and provide QA in preparation of testimony, schedules and responses.
• Monitor hearings and communicate findings to management and departments.
• Lead cross-functional teams and provide guidance to staff as needed.
