NW Recruiting Partners represents a Tacoma-based real estate and property management firm seeking an experienced Controller to lead accounting across the organization. Competenze

• 7+ years of progressive accounting experience in real estate, property management, or multi-entity settings.
• Strong property accounting experience, including depreciation and capitalization.
• Experience overseeing multiple entities, trusts, and investments.
• Working tax knowledge and collaboration with CPAs.
• Proven leadership of accounting staff and ability to balance hands-on work with oversight.
• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field; CPA or CMA a plus.

Mansioni

• Oversee accounting and financial reporting for the real estate portfolio and related entities.
• Lead the accounting team to ensure timely, accurate reporting.
• Review monthly statements, investigate variances.
• Oversee trusts and investment entities' cash activity.
• Coordinate with outside tax accountants for returns and schedules.
• Ensure readiness for annual tax and regulatory reporting.
• Advise ownership and internal teams on controls and process improvements.
• Balance hands-on accounting with strategic oversight.
