Job summary

100X Recruiting is seeking a Controller to lead accounting for a commercial real estate owner and its family of companies. You will report to ownership and guide a team of about eight, overseeing property accounting, cash management, reconciliations and consolidations.

You will run parent company accounting, manage construction loans, budgeting, forecasting and capital expenditure planning, coordinate with outside CPAs, and supervise IT/HR and retirement plans.

Qualifications

• CPA credential required.
• Commercial real estate accounting experience.
• Experience with multi-entity consolidations.
• Construction loan and lender reporting experience.
• Experience managing an accounting team.

Responsibilities

• Oversee property accounting for owned commercial properties, including cash management, reconciliations and adjusting entries.
• Run parent company accounting and reporting, including consolidation of 30+ subsidiaries and partnership interests.
• Manage construction loans from negotiation through closing, plus borrower/guarantor reporting and compliance.
• Lead corporate budgeting, forecasting and capital expenditure planning.
• Prepare required federal filings for foreign-owned real estate investments.
• Work with outside CPA firms on audits and tax compliance; maintain bank and lender relationships.
• Supervise IT and HR functions and oversee the company retirement plan.
