Job summary

Allied Real Estate Advisors is seeking a seasoned accounting professional to oversee daily operations, including AP/AR/GL and reconciliations, while ensuring accurate financial reporting for senior management and external stakeholders.

The role supports budgeting, forecasting, variance analysis, internal controls, and collaboration with auditors. Real estate-specific multi-entity and property/fund accounting experience is highly valued.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in accounting, finance, or related field.
• CPA or CMA certification preferred.
• 3–5 years of progressive accounting/finance experience, including supervisory exposure.
• Real estate accounting experience preferred (multi-entity, property, or fund accounting).

Responsibilities

• Oversee daily accounting operations: AP, AR, GL maintenance, and reconciliations.
• Assist in preparing and analyzing financial statements for senior management and external stakeholders.
• Assist in budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis to support decisions.
• Support internal controls and regulatory compliance.
• Collaborate with auditors and provide documentation for audits and tax planning.
• Manage multi-entity accounting across capital, development, and brokerage businesses; consolidate reporting.
• Oversee property and fund accounting including investor reporting and distributions.
