Job summary

Beverly Hills-based property management firm seeks an experienced Controller to own accounting and financial operations across multiple properties and entities. The role demands hands-on leadership in a lean, entrepreneurial environment.

The ideal candidate has 5+ years in progressive accounting, strong GAAP knowledge, and advanced Excel skills. Real estate or multi-entity experience is a plus. Onsite schedule, full-time, with benefits and growth potential.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of progressive accounting experience including Controller/Accounting Manager roles.
• Strong understanding of GAAP and full-cycle accounting.
• Experience with multi-entity or multi-location accounting is preferred.
• Real estate or property management exposure is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Oversee day-to-day accounting and financial operations.
• Manage accounts payable, accounts receivable, general ledger, and bookkeeping.
• Lead month-end and year-end close processes.
• Prepare and review financial statements and management reports.
• Oversee accounting for multiple properties and entities.
• Maintain accurate property-level and corporate records.
• Monitor cash flow, budgets, and financial performance.
• Coordinate with CPAs, banks, and vendors.
• Assist ownership with financial analysis and special projects.
• Drive process improvements and internal controls.
