Job summary

TYLin seeks a Senior Track and Civil Engineer to join our Rail + Transit team in the Pacific Northwest. Ideal candidate has 8–12 years of rail experience and strong leadership in track and civil design for complex projects.

You will contribute across the full lifecycle from planning to construction support, coordinating with signaling, traction power, and civil teams to deliver integrated rail solutions. Strong background in track geometry, corridor integration, and multidisciplinary

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Civil or Transportation Engineering and PE licensure.
• 8+ years of progressive experience in rail track and civil engineering.
• Experience delivering rail infrastructure projects across multiple rail modes.

Responsibilities

• Serve as a senior technical resource for track and civil design on major rail projects.
• Lead development of track alignments, turnouts, crossovers, and station layouts.
• Develop and review engineering plans, specs, and reports.
• Coordinate corridor studies, phasing, and maintenance-of-way planning.
• Collaborate with signaling, traction power, OCS, and civil disciplines.
