Job summary

Dow Inc. in Collegeville, PA, seeks a Senior R&D Leader to guide a 13-person, multi-site team across Collegeville and Midland. You will shape product and technology development, ensure safe lab operations, and manage the portfolio for the Cleaning Growth Platform and related DIS segments.

This role blends people leadership with rigorous science, IP strategy, and cross-functional collaboration with Product, TS&D, Marketing, and external partners to deliver growth.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Chemistry, Chemical Engineering, Materials Science, or related discipline.
• Minimum five years of relevant technical experience.
• Ability to lead teams and collaborate across functions.
• Commitment to safe operations and responsible research practices.
• U.S. work authorization (no visa sponsorship).

Responsibilities

• Lead a multi-site R&D team of 13 FTEs, set priorities and allocate resources.
• Develop, prioritize, and manage the Home Care Cleaning R&D portfolio and platforms.
• Ensure safe and compliant laboratory operations and ESG adherence.
• Translate business strategy into research priorities and execution plans.
• Partner with Product, TS&D, Process R&D, EI&G R&D, Marketing and external partners to advance research and commercialization.
• Oversee project delivery, maintain documentation, and remove roadblocks.
