Job summary

Dow Industrial Solutions is seeking a Senior R&D Leader based in Collegeville, PA, to lead a multidisciplinary team focused on the Cleaning Growth Platform. The role entails personnel leadership, safe lab operations, and strategic portfolio management to deliver new products and technology platforms.

The successful candidate will drive cross-functional execution with global partners, manage budgets, and champion IP strategies while fostering a diverse, inclusive research environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Chemistry, Chemical Engineering, Materials Science, or a related scientific or engineering discipline.
• Minimum five years of relevant technical experience.
• Demonstrated ability to lead teams, manage complex technical work, and collaborate across functions.
• Strong commitment to safe operations and responsible research practices.
• US work authorization required; no visa sponsorship available.

Responsibilities

• Lead, coach, and develop a multi-site R&D team across Collegeville (PA) and Midland (MI).
• Develop, prioritize, and manage the Home Care Cleaning R&D portfolio and platforms.
• Partner with Product R&D, TS&D, Process R&D, EI&G R&D, and Commercial teams to advance research and commercialization.
• Ensure safe, compliant laboratory operations and milestone-driven project delivery.
• Engage external partners and customers to support growth opportunities and IP strategies.
