Job summary

Dow Inc. in Collegeville, PA, seeks a Senior R&D Leader to guide a 13-person multidisciplinary team across Collegeville and Midland, driving product development for Cleaning Growth Platform and related market segments.

You will oversee safety, portfolio management, and cross-functional execution, shaping technology platforms and sustainable growth while partnering with Product R&D, TS&D, Marketing and external partners.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in chemistry or engineering or related field.
• Minimum five years of relevant technical experience.
• Proven ability to lead teams and collaborate across functions.
• Strong commitment to safe operations and responsible research.

Responsibilities

• Lead, coach, and develop a multi-site R&D team; set priorities and allocate resources.
• Build organizational capability by attracting talent and aligning people with strategy.
• Ensure safe and compliant laboratory operations; champion EHS policies.
• Develop and manage Home Care Cleaning R&D portfolio and technology platforms.
• Lead cross-functional Front End Team and translate strategy into research plans.
• Oversee project delivery against milestones with rigorous methods and documentation.
• Champion IP strategies and execute appropriate patent filings.
• Partner globally with Product R&D, TS&D, Process R&D, EI&G R&D, Commercial, Marketing.
• Engage customers and external partners to support growth opportunities.
• Assess portfolio performance and align goals, resources, and accountabilities.
• Manage operating budgets, capital plans, and investments to grow capabilities.
