Job summary

Dow Inc. is seeking a Senior R&D Leader based in Collegeville, PA to guide a 13-person multi-site team supporting product and application development, primarily for Cleaning Growth Platform.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Chemistry, Chemical Engineering, Materials Science or related field.
• Minimum five years of relevant technical experience.
• Demonstrated ability to lead teams and collaborate across functions.
• Strong commitment to safe operations and responsible research practices.
• U.S. work eligibility; no visa sponsorship provided for this role.

Responsibilities

• Lead, coach, and develop a multi-site R&D team; set priorities and allocate resources.
• Ensure safe, compliant laboratory operations and champion EH&S policies.
• Develop and manage Home Care Cleaning R&D portfolio and platforms.
• Lead cross-functional Front End Team and translate strategy into priorities.
• Oversee milestones, documentation, and removal of roadblocks for projects.
• Drive new product innovation and manage IP strategies and filings.
• Partner globally with Product R&D, TS&D, Process R&D, and other functions.
• Engage external partners to support growth and opportunities.
• Assess portfolio performance and align goals and resources.
• Manage operating budgets, capital plans, and investments for capability growth.
