Job summary

Dow is seeking a Senior R&D Leader based in Collegeville, PA, overseeing a multidisciplinary team of researchers and contractors to advance the Cleaning Growth Platform. The role involves portfolio management, cross-functional execution, and strategic alignment with product development and commercialization goals.

Located in Collegeville (PA) with support in Midland (MI), the leader will drive safe operations, advance technology platforms, manage budgets, and engage external partners to deliver

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in a scientific or engineering discipline.
• Minimum five years of relevant technical experience.
• Demonstrated ability to lead teams and collaborate across functions.
• Strong commitment to safe operations and responsible research practices.
• US work authorization required; no visa sponsorship available.

Responsibilities

• Lead a multi-site R&D team (14+ members) across Collegeville and Midland.
• Set priorities, allocate resources, and manage performance and engagement.
• Ensure safe, compliant laboratory operations following EH&S policies.
• Develop and manage Home Care Cleaning R&D portfolio and platforms.
• Translate strategy into research priorities, charters, and execution plans.
• Oversee milestones, documentation, and removal of roadblocks.
• Champion IP strategies and patent filings where applicable.
• Collaborate with Product R&D, TS&D, Process R&D, and Commercial functions.
• Engage external partners to support growth opportunities.
• Monitor portfolio performance and align resources with goals.
• Manage budgets, capital plans, and investments to grow capabilities.
