Job summary

Dow is seeking a Senior R&D Leader in Collegeville, PA to guide a 13-person multidisciplinary team supporting the Cleaning Growth Platform and related market segments. You will drive safe operations, portfolio strategy, and cross-functional execution to deliver new products and technology platforms.

You will develop talent, manage budgets, collaborate globally with Product R&D, TS&D, Process R&D, EI&G R&D, Commercial, and Marketing, and engage external partners to create growth opportunities.

Qualifications

• Bachelor-level degree in a scientific or engineering discipline.
• Minimum five years of relevant technical experience.
• Proven ability to lead teams and collaborate across functions.
• Strong commitment to safe operations and responsible research practices.
• US work authorization; no visa sponsorship is available.

Responsibilities

• Lead, coach, and develop a multi-site R&D team with clear priorities.
• Attract and retain talent; conduct development discussions and align assignments.
• Ensure safe laboratory operations and enforce EH&S standards.
• Develop and manage Home Care Cleaning R&D portfolio and platforms.
• Lead cross-functional teams; translate strategy into research priorities.
• Oversee project delivery to milestones with rigorous methods and docs.
• Champion IP strategies and pursue patent filings where appropriate.
• Partner with Product R&D, TS&D, Process R&D, and Commercial to advance research.
• Engage external partners to support existing products and growth opportunities.
• Manage budgets, capital plans, and investments to grow capabilities.
