Dow is seeking a Senior R&D Leader based in Collegeville, PA, overseeing a 13-person multidisciplinary team to advance the Cleaning Growth Platform and related market segments. The role emphasizes strategic leadership, safety, and cross-functional execution to deliver new products and technologies.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s in Chemistry, Chemical Engineering, Materials Science, or related field.
• Minimum five years of relevant technical experience.
• Demonstrated ability to lead teams and collaborate across functions.
• Strong commitment to safe operations and responsible research practices.

Responsibilities

• Lead a multi-site R&D team (Collegeville, PA and Midland, MI) and set priorities.
• Ensure safe, compliant laboratory operations and champion EH&S standards.
• Develop and manage the Home Care Cleaning R&D portfolio and technology platforms.
• Translate strategy into research priorities, charters, and execution plans.
• Oversee project delivery with rigorous scientific methods and clear documentation.
• Protect IP and execute patent filings where appropriate.
• Collaborate with Product, TS&D, Process R&D, and commercial teams to advance research and commercialization.
