Job summary

Syms Strategic Group (SSG) is seeking a Quantum Computing/Cryptography Engineer for a 100% remote role focused on government-grade cryptography and PQC migration strategies.

You will implement post-quantum algorithms in Python and C++, assess cryptographic inventories, and collaborate with cross-functional teams to communicate quantum risk to leadership while aligning with NIST PQC standards. U.S. Citizenship is required.

Qualifications

• Minimum 10+ years IT experience with quantum crypto exposure; master’s can substitute up to 2 years.
• Expertise in quantum mechanics, algorithms, and information theory.
• Experience with post-quantum cryptography and PQC standards (NIST).
