Qualifications

• 10+ years IT experience with quantum computing and cryptography in large orgs or government
• Expertise in quantum mechanics, algorithms, and information theory
• Experience with post-quantum cryptography and NIST PQC standards
• Familiarity with cryptographic frameworks (NIST, ISO/IEC 19790)
• Security clearance or eligibility for one (Public Trust)

Responsibilities

• Implement and test cryptographic algorithms using Python, C++, and Java
• Advise on migration plans for quantum-resistant algorithms and PQC implementation
• Assess cryptographic inventories and identify migration priorities
• Communicate quantum risk to leadership and stakeholders
• Provide policy inputs aligned with NIST PQC standards (FIPS 203, 204, 205)
