Sir Robert McAlpine has secured a prestigious contract to construct a state-of-the-art Battery Manufacturing Facility. The initial phase of the project includes the design and construction of a new 15GWh lithium-ion battery facility, ancillary buildings, and site-wide external works.

The Senior Quantity Surveyor role - MEP

Ideally, you'll:

1. be a recognised MEP Senior Quantity Surveyor with strong commercial awareness with a focus on profit and cash;
2. have prior experience with CM projects;
3. have experience managing a range of commercial aspects including procurement, tendering, contract administration, variations and management of subcontract works packages through to final account;
4. be keen to minimise risk, cost and maximise value by cost checking and analysis of labour, plant and materials;
5. have broad construction industry experience covering many and various sectors and markets in commercial positions with industry main contracting organisations.

Your profile

1. Extensive knowledge in managing MEP packages;
2. Pre contract through to post contract experience;
3. Strategy – Can disseminate a breadth of internal and external data and apply sound judgement regarding the strategic direction of the business;
4. You will be degree qualified in Quantity Surveying/Commercial Management or a related subject.
