Senior Quantity Surveyor - Construction - Competitive Salary

Your new role

Senior Quantity Surveyor required for a major construction project on the Suffolk/Cambridge border. You will play a key role in the project's success by leading the commercial aspects and ensuring their seamless execution.

Key responsibilities will include:

1. Managing the project’s commercial team and being accountable for all pre- and post-contract strategies, commercial functions, and contract reporting.
2. Collaborating with clients and industry experts to deliver added value, ensure compliance, and uphold best practices while driving commercial viability.
3. Overseeing procurement strategies, sub-contract orders, and supply chain management.
4. Handling measurements, valuations, contractual notices, and change valuations.
5. Completing and submitting monthly cost reports, progress updates, and tender strategies.
6. Maintaining positive project cash flow through upstream/downstream valuations and delivering accurate final accounts for main and sub-contracts.

Previous experience working at Senior Quantity Surveyor level on major commercial projects is essential.
