Senior Quantity Surveyor - Construction - Competitive Salary

Your new role

Senior Quantity Surveyor required for a major construction project on the Suffolk/Cambridgeshire border. You will lead the commercial aspects of the project, ensuring their seamless execution and playing a key role in its success.

Key responsibilities

1. Manage the project’s commercial team and be accountable for pre- and post-contract strategies, commercial functions, and contract reporting.
2. Collaborate with clients and industry experts to deliver added value, ensure compliance, and uphold best practices while maintaining commercial viability.
3. Oversee procurement strategies, sub-contract orders, and supply chain management.
4. Handle measurements, valuations, contractual notices, and change valuations.
5. Complete and submit monthly cost reports, progress updates, and tender strategies.
6. Maintain positive project cash flow through valuations and deliver accurate final accounts for main and sub-contracts.
