Overview

The Senior Supervisor, Procurement will monitor performance against KPIs, manage, lead, schedule, and oversee the purchasing team.

Responsibilities

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage buyers and suppliers, ensuring alignment with procurement strategies and KPIs
• Lead and mentor the procurement team
• Oversee daily procurement operations, including purchase orders and supplier communications
• Monitor supplier performance, drive corrective actions
• Build relationships with key suppliers for supply continuity and cost savings
• Collaborate with engineering and production teams for material availability and inventory optimization
• Support sourcing, negotiations, and contracts
• Ensure compliance with policies, standards, and regulations
• Identify and implement process improvements

Ownership & Leadership Projects:

• Serve as procurement point for leadership requests
• Represent procurement in cross-departmental meetings
• Lead initiatives like cost reduction, supplier transitions, ERP upgrades
• Resolve escalated issues affecting business continuity
• Analyze procurement data for insights and reporting
• Contribute to long-term supply chain strategies

Qualifications & Experience

• Minimum 2 years of people management experience; 4+ years in the field
• High School Diploma or GED

Additional Information

• Position requires access to controlled technology/materials under ITAR/EAR laws, and ability to obtain U.S. export licenses
• Pay Range: $87,995 - $109,994 annually, depending on location, education, and experience
