Salary:€70,000–€90,000 (doe) + Flights + Expenses + Accommodation etc.
Project: Luxury New Build Villas – €3–4 Million Each

A prestigious developer is currently delivering a high-spec residential project in Albufeira, Algarve, consisting of 20 luxury new build villas, each valued at €3–4 million. With a focus on high-end finishes and exceptional craftsmanship, this is an exciting opportunity to work on a significant, high-profile development in one of Europe’s most sought-after locations.

Role Overview:
We are looking for an experienced Quantity Surveyor (QS) or Senior Quantity Surveyor (SQS) to oversee the commercial aspects of this high-value residential project. In this role, you will be responsible for managing budgets, cost control, procurement, and ensuring the financial success of the project. You will be involved in the entire lifecycle of the development, from pre-construction through to completion, and will play a key role in maintaining quality standards and financial accuracy.

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage all commercial aspects of the residential development, including cost estimation, budgeting, and financial reporting.

• Ensure that the project stays on budget while maintaining the highest standards of quality.

• Support procurement processes and manage contractor negotiations.

• Monitor project costs and timelines, identifying any potential risks or issues and proposing solutions.

• Coordinate with the project team to ensure that all financial aspects are effectively managed throughout the project lifecycle.

• Provide regular reports on financial progress and assist in making informed decisions to ensure the project’s commercial success.

Key Requirements:

• 3-8+ years of experience in Quantity Surveying, ideally with residential or general building experience.

• Experience in managing high-value projects with a focus on high-spec finishes.

• Strong understanding of commercial management, cost control, and financial reporting.

• Excellent communication and negotiation skills.

• An EU passport or Irish citizenship is essential.

• The ability to work in a team and manage multiple tasks effectively.
