Job summary

Capital District Physicians Health Plan Inc is seeking an experienced Program Manager to oversee complex programs related to accreditation, CMS/DOH regulatory compliance, member experience, and overall health plan performance. You will lead cross-functional teams, manage multiple projects, and ensure timely submissions and ongoing monitoring of results.

The role requires strong leadership, excellent communication, and expertise in quality improvement, program governance, and vendor/regulator

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Nursing, Business or Healthcare Administration, Analytics, Project Management or related fields with a minimum of 5 years of related work experience. Master's degree preferred.
• Minimum of 3 years of project management. PMI/PMP certification preferred.
• Applied knowledge of quality improvement, accreditation and regulatory compliance.

Responsibilities

• Performs elevated program management duties; focus on measures/outcomes and operational optimization/efficiencies.
• Manages day-to-day operations to assess compliance with program standards.
• Communicates with users/customers, sponsors and management to review scope/progress and resolve issues.
• Plans, schedules, monitors, and reports on activities related to the program.
• Develops program plans, monitors progress and timeliness to ensure deadlines are met.
• Oversees development, contracting, implementation and compliance of delegation/vendor agreements.
• Provides governance to program team rooms, artifacts and schedules.
• Organizes regular program reviews/meetings to foster coordination and communication.
• Determines, monitors, and reviews program economics including budgets, staffing and risks.
