Job summary

CoVolt Power in Illinois seeks a QA/QC Manager to lead the quality program for solar, BESS, and high-voltage projects. You will oversee audits, inspections, testing, and ensure compliance with project plans, safety standards, and ISO quality requirements.

Reporting to the Director of Quality, you will supervise QA/QC Inspectors, coordinate with Project Engineers and Superintendents, and drive continuous improvement across civil and electrical works.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in construction management, engineering, or related area.
• Minimum 2 years construction QA/QC experience on large commercial/multi-disciplinary projects.
• Experience in SWPPP and erosion control.
• External/Internal auditing experience and ISO quality standards knowledge preferred.
• OSHA 10 hour minimum, First Aid, CPR, SWPPP Training preferred.

Responsibilities

• Promote company policies and ensure QA/QC adherence on projects.
• Coordinate QA/QC staff needs with Quality Manager and Lead Superintendent.
• Manage project team quality and corrective actions.
• Drive quality achievement and performance improvement across the project.
• Oversee audits, inspections, surveillance and testing activities.
• Manage QA/QC program for solar, electrical, and civil works.
• Ensure subcontractors provide and comply with Quality Policies and Procedures.
• Communicate and implement Quality Policies on site.
• Investigate non-conformances and implement corrective actions.
• Mentor QA/QC Inspectors and conduct quality training.
• Maintain project quality plans, deliverables, and due dates to meet contract requirements.
