Job summary

Atomic HR is seeking a senior QA Engineer for a fully remote US role. You will own automated test strategy, run end-to-end testing across web apps, APIs, and AI features, and ensure quality in fast-moving deployments.

Youll collaborate with delivery teams to define done criteria and guard release quality with evidence. The role requires 5+ years in quality or software testing with automation, strong Python or TypeScript skills, and experience as the sole QA across multiple teams.

Qualifications

• 5+ years in quality, test or software engineering with automation you wrote and maintained.
• Strong test code in Python or TypeScript across API, browser and pipeline.
• Experience testing business rules from policies and gaps.
• Experience as the sole QA across multiple teams, setting priorities.

Responsibilities

• Define test strategy and automation and push back on risky release dates with evidence.
• Work within delivery teams, testing features as they’re built.
• Run functional, regression and accessibility tests across browsers and devices.
• Test APIs and asynchronous flows; write contract tests with outside systems.
• Ensure product behaves correctly when dependencies slow down or fail.
