Job summary

Hitachi Energy is seeking a highly motivated Senior Quality Engineer to drive product and process quality throughout the lifecycle. You will lead quality initiatives, develop and maintain QMS, and collaborate with design, manufacturing, and supply chain teams to meet customer expectations.

You will perform RCA/CAPA, audits, and training, analyze quality data for trends, support NPI, and lead Lean, Six Sigma, and Kaizen projects to foster continuous improvement across the organization.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering or related field; Master's preferred.
• 5+ years in quality engineering in manufacturing.
• Strong knowledge of ISO 9001, IATF 16949.
• Experience with RCA methodologies (8D, Fishbone, 5 Whys).
• Experience with SPC, FMEA, control plans.
• CQE or Six Sigma Green/Black Belt preferred.
• Excellent analytical and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Develop, implement, and maintain QMS in accordance with ISO 9001.
• Lead RCA and CAPA processes for identified quality issues.
• Conduct internal and external audits for compliance with quality standards.
• Collaborate with design, manufacturing, and supply chain to integrate quality requirements.
• Analyze quality data to identify trends and proactive solutions.
• Develop and deliver quality training programs for employees at all levels.
• Participate in NPI processes ensuring quality considerations from early stages.
• Support customer complaint investigation and resolution.
• Drive continuous improvement via Lean, Six Sigma, and Kaizen.
