Job summary

You will lead a transparent quality control team, coordinating with owners, design teams, and contractors to deliver quality and timely construction. You will implement the Three Phases of Control, oversee submittal reviews, testing procedures, inspections, and punch lists, and report to executive management.

Qualifications

• Undergraduate degree in construction or related discipline or relevant experience.
• Minimum 5-8+ years verifiable construction quality control and/or inspection experience.
• Takes initiative and communicates effectively with a broad range of stakeholders.
• Experience establishing quality control plans and testing procedures per contract specifications.
• Experience in large-scale construction management or trades with increasing responsibility.
• Ability to recruit, develop, and lead staff.

Responsibilities

• Partner with the project team to understand, plan, and implement the contract drawings and specifications.
• Collaborate with the owner, design team, and contractors to ensure quality and timeliness of project construction and completion.
• Implement and manage the “Three Phases of Control” Quality Control Plan.
• Oversee submittal review and approval.
• Schedule and conduct quality control meetings (Preparatory, Initial Phase, Follow-up).
• Control documents related to quality control functions and establish testing procedures.
• Manage inspections process and coordinate third-party testing agents with Owner’s representatives.
• Maintain project deficiency logs and punch lists; manage closeout deliverables.
• Lead staff training, development, recruiting top industry talent, and continuous improvement.
