Job summary

Clark Construction Group is seeking a qualified Quality Control Manager to ensure project conformance with contract documents, owner requirements, and applicable building codes. The role coordinates with trades, processes daily progress reports, and adheres to project requirements.

Responsibilities include leading the Quality program, preparing and managing the QC Plan, overseeing submittal reviews, establishing testing procedures, conducting inspections, and coordinating third-party testing

Qualifications

• Undergraduate degree from four-year accredited college or university in Engineering, Architecture, Construction Management, Engineering Technology, Building Construction, or Building Science.
• 5+ years construction experience and at least two years’ experience as a QC Manager preferred.
• Experience leading supervision or quality control teams on commercial projects.
• Ability to manage inspectors and coordinate material testing and lab work.

Responsibilities

• Lead the project Quality program and coordinate with owner’s Quality Assurance team to provide timely information.
• Prepare, implement and manage the Quality Control Plan.
• Oversee the Three Phases of Control.
• Oversee submittal review and approval.
• Establish testing procedures in accordance with contract specifications.
• Execute inspections and coordinate third party testing agents.
• Maintain a project composite deficiency log and control QC documents.
• Schedule and conduct QC meetings (Preparatory, Initial Phase, Follow-up).
• Interact directly with executive management.
• Support staff training and development.
