Job summary

Clark Construction Group is seeking a Quality Control Manager in Jacksonville, FL to ensure project work aligns with contract documents, owner requirements, and building codes. You will lead a QC team, interface with owners and designers, and drive excellence in construction quality and process compliance.

Responsibilities include implementing the Three Phases of Control QC Plan, managing submittals and testing, conducting QC meetings, and coordinating with third-party testers.

Qualifications

• Undergraduate degree in construction or related discipline, or equivalent experience.
• Minimum 5-8+ years of verifiable construction quality control/inspection experience.
• Proactive initiative and accountability to deliver value and excellence.

Responsibilities

• Partner with project team to implement contract drawings and specs.
• Collaborate with owner/design team/contractors to ensure quality and timeliness.
• Implement and manage the Three Phases of Control QC Plan.
• Oversee submittal reviews and approvals.
• Schedule and conduct QC meetings: Preparatory, Initial, Follow-up.
• Manage QC documents and testing procedures per specs.
• Oversee inspections process and coordinate third-party testing.
• Track deficiency log and punch list process.
• Coordinate closeout deliverables training, OMs.
• Interface with Owner’s representatives; report to exec team.
• Lead staff training and development; recruit top talent.
• Proactively build relationships with industry professionals.
• Take active role in recruiting top industry talent to join Clark team.
• Exceed stakeholders’ expectations by anticipating their needs and goals.
