Job summary

CRH's Shelly Company in Ohio seeks a Quality Control (QC) Manager to lead QC activities across asphalt and aggregate products. You will supervise technicians, ensure calibration, and drive performance improvements at multiple locations while maintaining safety and compliance with project specs.

You will partner with operations leaders to optimize mix designs, oversee testing, and train staff, ensuring timely, accurate quality assurance across the division.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent from four‑year college or technical school.
• Proficient with Windows, Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.

Responsibilities

• Promote and ensure safety in day-to-day activities.
• Meet all requirements for Ohio Department of Transportation, Levels 2 and 3 (asphalt) and Levels 1–3 (aggregate).
• Recruit, coach, and develop employees to strengthen the workforce.
• Demonstrate a hands-on, collaborative approach and strong business acumen.
• Oversee QC Technicians and ensure adherence to QC Plan and Specs.
