Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent; able to perform standardized lab tests.
• Knowledge of asphalt plant operations and safety regulations.
• Ability to obtain Level 2/3 ODOT testing certifications.
• Ability to read English and perform basic math.

Responsibilities

• Test aggregate and asphalt samples to determine composition and properties.
• Monitor temperatures, densities, thicknesses, and gradation per specifications.
• Enter test results into laboratory computers and communicate outcomes.
• Assist paving personnel to adjust processes to meet specifications.
