Job summary

The Shelly Company is seeking a QC Manager to oversee quality control operations across multiple locations in Ohio, including asphalt and aggregate testing and mix design. You will lead QC Technicians, ensure calibration of testing equipment, and maintain compliance with safety and QA standards.

Responsibilities include directing a QC team, developing staff, and coordinating with production, sales, and management to meet project specifications.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent from four‑year college or technical school.
• Proficient with Windows, Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.

Responsibilities

• Promote and ensure safety in day-to-day activities.
• Meet all requirements for the Ohio Department of Transportation, Levels 2 and 3 (asphalt), Levels 1, 2, and 3 (aggregate).
• Continually improve operations to leverage mix optimization and engineering improvements.
• Recruit, coach, and develop employees to strengthen the workforce.
• Demonstrate hands‑on, collaborative leadership and strong business acumen.
